Mumbi Program

The Mumbi Program harnesses the power of design to create and foster mutually symbiotic relationships between people.

True to our philosophy, the focus lies not only on products but on systems and models that promote long-term wellbeing.

We have intentionally centered this program on health and finance — two areas that present some of the most complex challenges yet hold the greatest potential to uplift underprivileged communities.

Our research reveals a flaw in traditional funding models: the inability of underprivileged individuals to capitalize on opportunity. While governments and organizations create opportunities, these often remain inaccessible or limited to a few, perpetuating dependence on new funding cycles. Our approach is both strategic and creative. We design supportive systems and structures that enable individuals to raise themselves from zero to a position of sustainable financial capacity.

A key outcome of this model is its self-sustaining nature — initial funding establishes foundational structures, after which the system evolves through user participation and community-driven growth.

Research projects and experiments This program explores design challenges that mainstream solutions have yet to fully address. Whether product or model, our focus is on the unmet needs of businesses, organizations, and communities.

We engage directly with local contexts to develop innovative, human-centered solutions that foster cohesion between organizations and the people they serve.

By treating each challenge as an opportunity for experimentation, we aim to uncover new pathways for responsible, context-aware design that drives both social and systemic progress.
